Putting Sturgeon County First.
Putting Sturgeon County First.
As your candidate for Mayor of Sturgeon County, I believe it's time to focus on what matters most — you, the residents and business owners. My campaign is built around practical action, efficient services, and building a stronger community together.
I’ve lived in Sturgeon County for most of my life, growing up on a small farm north of Bon Accord. This is the place I’ve always called home, and I care deeply about the people and the future of our community.
For two terms I’ve served as a Sturgeon County Councillor, working closely with residents, farmers, and local businesses. Those years taught me a lot about what makes our county strong—and where we can do better.
Today I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Mayor of Sturgeon County.
One of my biggest goals is simple:
to get more people involved. In past elections, fewer than 30% of eligible voters have cast a ballot. Whether you vote for me or for someone else, I encourage you to take part. Your voice matters, and every vote shapes the future of our county.
If elected, here are a few priorities I’ll focus on:
• Faster approvals and fair processes – making it easier for new businesses to get started and for homeowners and farmers to move ahead with their plans.
• Better roads and infrastructure – maintaining and improving the services that keep our county connected and safe.
• Responsible finances – carefully reviewing where our tax dollars go, ensuring proper staffing levels, and keeping spending transparent and accountable.
Sturgeon County is growing and changing, and with the right leadership we can welcome that growth while protecting the rural character and strong community values that make this place special.
I look forward to meeting more of you, listening to your ideas, and working together for a bright and sustainable future.
Let’s make this an election where everyone’s voice is heard.
